3.2.1. Amaç

İstemi ve istem ayrıştırmasını sarmalamak.

Bir çağrıcımız (invoker) ve bir çağrı ayrıştırmacımız yani alıcımız (receiver) olsun. Bu desen, bir “Komut” kullanarak alıcıya karşı yöntem çağrısının (method call) atamasını yapar, ve aynı yöntemi execute() olarak sunar. Böylece çağrıcı, istemcinin (client) komutunu yürütmek için, yalnızca execute() yöntemini çağıracağını bilir. Alıcı çağrıcıdan ayrışmıştır.

Bu desenin ikinci yönü, execute() yöntemini geri almayı sağlayan undo() yöntemidir. Komut deseni, daha karmaşık işlemleri gerçekleştirmek için diğer komutları bir araya getirebilir ve bu sayede kodun (diğer nesnelerden) kopyalanmasını en aza indirir, kalıtımdan çok kompozisyona güvenir.

3.2.2. Örnekler

  • A text editor : all events are commands which can be undone, stacked and saved.

  • big CLI tools use subcommands to distribute various tasks and pack them in “modules”, each of these can be implemented with the Command pattern (e.g. vagrant)
